African Logistics Club will hold the first major freight forwarding conference in Africa.

Organised by African Logistics Club, a division of China Logistics Club (CLC) and co-hosted by the African Project Logistics Award, it is expected to become a yearly event in Africa. a network that specifically look after the small to medium sized freight forwarding industry. CLC hold up to 4 conferences per year in China, helping many of the estimated 55,000 Chinese freight forwarders build relationship with overseas partners. It was on the request of our Chinese members that we started African Logistics Club several years ago to invite more African companies to come to the CLC conferences in China. Now we are the forerunners of any freight forwarding network to come to Africa and we can see other networks are now following us.

The new generation of young and smart Chinese forwarders quickly learned that the profit margins are no longer on the European and American trade routes but in Africa and many have started to develop more and more business with Africa.

We expect this conference to attract many China Logistics Club members who want to meet solid African companies and are willing to invest in a trip to Africa to develop more business. We expect forwarders from the whole of East Africa as well as from Zambia to attend the conference.
